Follow up reminder on IRS returns and forms - Please contact your CPA for assistance:

As a qualified state and local political organization, a Form 990 is required if your PAC's gross receipts exceed $100,000.  The Form 990 is due by Thursday, May 15th.

As a reminder, we are providing a link to the IRS website on political organizations.  Please notice one of the exceptions to filing a Form 8871 to register as a political organization with the IRS is that the organization reasonably expects its annual gross receipts to always be less than $25,000.  If you have not filed the Form 8871 under this exception, please be aware that when you intend to exceed this threshold, your organization must register with IRS by filing the form.
