Texas Ethics Commission Update

The next commission meeting is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at the Capitol Extension, Room E1.010, Austin, Texas. New draft rules for publication are supposed to be presented onsplitting of expenditures, as well as on contingency fees and entity registration. These will be absolutely critical areas for PAAT members so please stay tuned for more information. PAAT will send out an update to members with any news of importance after the meeting. 2007 PAAT Legislative Activities

The 80th Texas Legislative Session adjourned on Monday, May 28, 2007. During the session, PAAT worked with legislators to address a number of issues that impact the lobby and government affairs community. See the Texas Ethics Commission site for a list of key ethics related legislation.
